For procurement leads
Manual vendor onboarding cannot keep pace with agent sourcing.
As agents raise the volume of counterparties to vet, questionnaire-driven onboarding becomes the bottleneck. Elidian returns verified, pre-authorised candidates so vetting stops running one vendor at a time.
How discovery replaces vetting
From a manual queue to verified discovery.
The path a counterparty follows before an agent is allowed to consider it.
Encode eligibility once
Your governors configure eligibility rules, authority limits and value thresholds per querying agent, so an agent can only consider counterparties you have pre-authorised.
Verify the counterparty
Credential verification runs against submitted and third-party sources. Clear cases are certified; ambiguous or high-stakes ones escalate to a named approver instead of being cleared automatically.
Return only cleared candidates
The eligibility filter removes anyone outside your rules, and the agent receives a shortlist matched to the required capability — no ad hoc searching, no stale listings.
Keep the audit trail
Every discovery and selection event is recorded, so a governance or audit review can reconstruct which counterparties were considered and why.

What you get
What a procurement lead gets from the gate.
Encoded eligibility policy
Governor-configured eligibility rules, policy-compatibility attributes, authority limits and value thresholds are applied per querying agent, so only pre-authorised counterparties are ever returned.
Credential verification
Listing verification checks a counterparty's credentials against both what it submits and independent third-party sources, so a shortlist rests on verified assertions rather than a vendor's self-description.
Human approval workflow
New counterparty onboarding and ambiguous or high-stakes verification cases route to a named approver. The trust judgement stays with a person.
Staleness scanner
Listings are continuously scanned for stale, expired or inconsistent credentials, which are flagged or suppressed so a lapsed standing is not treated as eligible.
Audit-ready logs
Discovery and selection events are recorded to support procurement audit, dispute resolution and governance review — an audit trail you can produce on demand.
Reputation records
Trust standing is built from logged interaction outcomes, giving listed counterparties a reputation record that updates over time.
Building the case before you approve a budget line.
The evidence, and its limits.
If you lead procurement, you are asked to approve a budget line, and you cannot approve one on assumption. So begin with what is documented and what is not. Manual, questionnaire-driven onboarding is commonly benchmarked at one to three weeks and thirty to sixty minutes of staff time for each vendor. That figure comes from a software vendor's reference page without a disclosed methodology, and we treat it as indicative rather than settled — it should be corroborated against a primary source before it anchors a business case.
Separately, documented impersonation and business-email-compromise losses ran to roughly USD 2.9bn in 2023 and USD 2.8bn in 2024. Those are losses in human commerce; whether the same exposure transfers cleanly into agent-initiated sourcing is a question we are still testing, not a claim we ask you to accept.
What Elidian changes, and what it does not.
Elidian does not remove the trust judgement from a person. It removes the repeated, serial, document-chasing effort that surrounds it. Your governors encode eligibility rules, authority limits and value thresholds once; verification runs against submitted and third-party credential sources; and an agent then receives only counterparties already cleared under those rules.
Elidian stops at discovery and verified standing. It does not negotiate, contract or settle, and it holds no funds, so it can be adopted as a standalone utility alongside your existing vendor budget rather than replacing your commerce tooling. A primary-sourced ROI benchmark for displacing manual vetting is work we have scoped but not yet published. We would rather state that plainly than offer you a number we cannot defend. If you want to help build that benchmark against your own onboarding data, that is precisely the conversation we are looking for.
